The fact that the Visitors' Center is closed for Easter and the gas stations only seem to carry maps of Georgia (?!?!) will not dissuade me.

I had a bit of trouble
with the cable-stayed wonder that is the Talmadge Memorial Bridge (which spans the Savannah River), because that mother just climbs and climbs and climbs. I'm doing fine on flat bridges, but those climbers are tough. That said, you crest that sucker and the payoff is huge. Wow. South Carolina's Low Country is blowing my mind.
