Weather, coupled with a long uninterrupted stretch of driveable Route 66 (did I mention how I got semi-lost on semi-paved back roads yesterday?), brought me to BBQ no. 2 of this trip. The location was almost as desirable as Rosedale (it backs onto the tracks), the meat was pork and the fries weren't from frozen.
The lime cherry soda was nice and the Oklahoman drawls I was eavesdropping on irresistible, but overall the BBQ was strictly ok. I wonder if NC-style (Lexington specifically) has ruined me forever...
