Don't you wanna go where things move slow?

Impressions of Louisville:

After a disappointing glimpse of a larger (and blander) than expected skyline, the bridges came into view and I burst into tears.

I followed a farmer in his truck for a dozen blocks until I could ask directions to a reasonable restaurant.

He directed me to Garage, a - you guessed it - former garage, with this going on out front:

Oh, and the farmer? Seamus. (Did I mention it's St. Patrick's Day?)

I should probably note that I love being called "ma'am." Also, Louisville is way more Southern than I had expected. I'd call it full-on Southern without being Deep South.

P.S. The correct answer to the question in the subject line is yes.

Adam & I are loving the daily installments - how was the food at the Garage?

YES.

Sadly, the food was just average. It was more of a bar, really. But the cars on their inexorable collision course towards certain death (thanks to the magic of a hydraulic pump) were nice eye candy.
