Dry pan mee

Is not on my list of Penang foods, possibly because it is a Malaysian Hakka food, and the Hakka are a serious minority, but it was amazing, and even in my top tier of foods so far.

I had the dry version, which comes with a spaghetti type noodle (the soupier version comes with a flat noodle). It's flavored with dry anchovies and possibly cooked in an anchovy broth, with fish balls and garlic and a green called sayur manis (vaguely like spinach) and a pork sauce.

The soup comes with an egg, but not the dry version. It was delicious anyway, and apparently it is easy to find in the Klang valley.

New itinerary?
