Universe. What's up?

So, the overnight 2nd-class sleeper to Chiang Mai is not in my immediate future. (That would be because it's sold out till Sunday.) So instead, I'm going to try and get me on the 5:55 am to Seam Reap. Well, not Seam Reap (which is really Ankgor Wat) exactly, but halfway there. If I can. It all seems very complicated and very stressful and very early, but that's what happens when you run a trip this way.

Based on some interactions previous to today and more today, and also based on the fact that I twice had decent Vietnamese food in Toronto prior toy trip, I'm considering bypassing Vietnam.

That even though thanks to the universe I a) have visa photos and b) have confirmed that I don't actually need visa photos.

Things are a bit of a hot mess, but also good, and also fun.

The pic here was taken when I went to see a man about a horse (read: see a woman about getting some tailor-made shirts) and also wound up encountering a completely different side of Bangkok. One that I don't need to see again, but will anyhow.
