I should probably clarify an earlier post in which I said I adored when people tried to rip me off.

I do adore when people try to rip me off and fail.

I merely don't mind when people try to rip me off and succeed. (This happened twice to my knowledge in Bangkok, and all I could do was tip my hat to them. Well played, monsieur, well played.)

But the institutionalized scammery that is Cambodia, that's another story. The game is rigged. And it sucks. There is no battle of the wills, it's just a long, slow, beat-you-into-submission grind. And that's just to get here.
