Amphawa

Is a lovely little town with my kind of floating market. The boats sell one thing, and one thing only: food. No t-shirts, to tchotchkes, just food. (Of course you can get souvenirs, just not from the boats.)

It's nicer in the morning, when most things are closed, than it is on Saturday night, but it's a pretty sweet place to be at any time, especially after the chaos of Bangkok.
